Nov. 16th, 2005 04:25 pmI've never been the techiest of people, but I usually do alright. I'm usually ahead of most of my friends and relatives. So why the hell haven't I dived into LJ and learned my way around all the cut tags and picture posting and whatnot? I can't explain it. I've used this site in only the most barebones way.
I've been impressed that a number of people I admire say the discourse is way above what is happening on Tribe.net these days (which, sadly, wouldn't be that hard to do compared to when Tribe started). So...me like discourse. So I suppose I should mess around and really learn LJ better but I'm feeling a bit dense.
It's not just LJ, either. My friends Abby and Adam have got their blogs hooked up with all sorts of gewgaws. Now, I don't know that I *want* my blog to be tricked out like a J-town Honda, but I'd like to know how. And I'm sure there are at least one or two little ornaments I'd hang on my Charlie Brown tree if I could bother to figure out how.
