I wanted to bring something for snax for Master Gardener class today. So though I was plenty busy, I modified a lemon square recipe into a Meyer Lemon Blenheim Apricot bar cookie recipe. It was awesome. It was all I could do to keep from scarfing it down before getting to class. Unfortunately for me, the people whose turn it was to bring snax today made some very good things. So my brilliant cookies went eaten but not particularly remarked upon.

So I'm making an even better one right now for someone who will appreciate it - me.

In no particular order:

- Sunset Sam by Michael Nesmith - a sentimental favorite as it was the first music video I ever saw and blew me away at the time.

- I Love L.A. by Randy Newman - How could any native Angeleno NOT like this video?

- Genius of Love by Tom Tom Club - Makes my heart glad.

- A Million Ways by OK GO - I had never heard of them before I saw this video and spent the rest of the night Googling because this video made me so very happy.

- It's So Quiet by Björk - Life is a musical. Just like it should be.

- Weapon of Choice by Fat Boy Slim - Another Spike Jonze-directed video. I watch it when nothing else cheers me up.

- Thriller by Michael Jackson - Pretty hard not to mention this one.

- Billie Jean by Michael Jackson - Made a bigger impression on me than the Thriller video. There was just something about those pavers lighting up.

- Here it Goes Again by OK GO - More brilliant choreography from the guitar player's sister.

- White & Nerdy by Weird Al Yankovic - painfully funny.

There are probably more I'm just not thinking of at the moment.
